TCL has revealed the 115-in QM8 QD-Mini LED TV for the global market. The flagship model has 20,000 dimming zones and up to 5,000 nits brightness. Plus, there are gaming features like support for a 4K@144Hz resolution, Game Accelerator 240 and AMD FreeSync Premium Certification.

The TCL 115-in QD-Mini LED TV has been announced at CES 2024. The company claims it is the world's largest QD-Mini LED TV. The gadget, with model number 115QM891, appears to be identical to the 115-in X11G Max TV launched in China last year.

TCL suggests that the 115-in QM8 TV can be enjoyed from distances of 10 ft (~3 m) away. The flagship TV's QD-Mini LED ULTIMATE panel has 20,000 dimming zones over 8 million pixels and a high peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The model uses Quantum Dot QLED technology for rich colors, is IMAX Enhanced certified and supports HDR ULTRA and Dolby Vision IQ. Other features include an anti-glare screen, a built-in 6.2.2 channel speaker system and Wi-Fi 6 compatibility.

The company suggests the large TV is suited to gamers, with a 4K@144Hz gaming experience, Game Accelerator 240, 240 VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Certification. Due to the model's size, TCL has developed the more powerful TCL AIPQ ULTRA Processor, an upgrade on the TCL AIPQ PRO Processor used in the other 2024 Q Class models. TCL has not announced the release date and pricing for the 115-in QD-Mini LED TV. As an indication, the X11G Max TV of the same size mentioned above sells for 79,999 yuan (~US$10,976) in China, and the 2023 TCL 98-inch QM8 QLED 4K Mini LED TV retails for $6,499.99; this model is currently discounted to $5,998.00 at Amazon.
