LG has unveiled new OLED TV series, just like every year. The brand has announced a wireless flagship TV range, new AI-powered processor, brighter displays, better gaming features, and other advanced features.

LG has unveiled its new series of OLED TVs - M4, G4, C4, and B4. The annual announcement comes sooner than expect, just a week prior to the CES 2024 event in Las Vegas.

As per LG’s press release, LG’s new OLED TV series will be equipped with new technologies and features. Notably, the M4 series is the first wireless TV that can transmit 4K content at 144Hz refresh rate. Both the G4 and M4 TVs will have Alpha 11 AI processor, which LG claims is a major improvement over the preceding chipset - the Alpha 10 engine. The new processor can deliver up to 4x the AI performance, up to 70% enhanced graphic performance and up to 30% faster processing speed compared to the previous gen processor.

The LG M4 is the high-end wireless flagship range that comes with the Zero Connect Box, which users can connect to the TV, and the box will then beam high resolution content onto the screen. With brightness booster max, the M4 TVs claim to deliver 150% more brightness levels than a B-series TV (this feature is not available in the 97-inch model). Thanks to the new AI-powered processor, Dolby Atmos audio can be transmitted wirelessly, in addition to Wowcast audio. Plus, the AI Sound Pro can mimic the feeling of up to 11.1.2 virtual channels of sound. Unlike M3 series, the M4 series will have a 65-inch model.

Then, we have the G4 OLED TVs, which have the almost same specs as the M4 TVs, including the processor and brightness booster max technology. Both M4 and G4 TVs will enable gaming in 4K at 144Hz and support for Nvidia Gsync and AMD FreeSync. However, this is limited to 83-inch models.

Along with the G4 and M4 series, LG has also lined up LG C4 and LG B4 OLED TV series for this year. The C4 TVs, which are mid-range OLED options, will feature a new iteration of the Alpha 9 AI processor. This new generation promises to deliver brighter visuals than the C3 series. Plus, this tweaked brightness will be available in all sizes.

Further, the B4 TVs, which are the entry-level options, will come with a new Alpha 8 AI processor that promises improved performance. LG has even introduced a new small size (48-inch) for this range. This time, unlike B3 series, the B4 TVs will have four HDMI 2.1 ports. Both C4 and B4 TVs will have the same gaming features as M4 and G4.

The release dates and prices for the new TVs are yet to be revealed. We are expecting more details at the CES 2024.
