The Realme GT7 is currently believed to launch with the same new Dimensity 9400+ processor as the Oppo Find X8s and X8s+, although it is also tipped to be the largest of the 3 with a ~6.8-inch flat display.
That generously-sized display is also now officially backed to debut with the world's highest PWM value for smartphones at 4,608Hz, with added DC dimming to help the user to keep their flicker-free gaming sessions going for longer.
Realme also asserts that the upcoming GT7 will come with the same ultra-high 6,500-nit peak brightness as its Pro sibling (now starting from €649 on Amazon in Europe).
That level might be 1,800 nits at best day to day, however. The GT7 is also now touted to have an ultra-sensitive display, backed to keep working even if the user has wet or gloved hands. To that end, it will also have a touch-sampling rate of no less than 2,600Hz.
Those potentially e-sports-friendly features are slated to augment a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144Hz - in fact, Realme now hypes the GT7 to pack the "strongest" display of such specs that will launch for 2,999 yuan (~$411) or less in about 5 days from today (April 18, 2025).
The screen is also backed to deliver a premium experience on par with its performance with an "ultra-narrow" 1.3mm bezel and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Then again, the highly-regarded leaker Digital Chat Station also asserts that the same will come with an LTPS backplane from BOE rather than the more power-efficient LTPO alternative.
