The Oppo K13 recently launched in India as a new mid-range smartphone. It has now made its way to China but as the Oppo K12s, albeit with a few additions. While the phone has an identical design to its Indian counterpart, the Oppo K12s is available in Rose Purple, Prism Black, and Star White while the Oppo K13 is available in Icy Purple and Prism Black.
The Oppo K12s has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. There's a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor under the hood paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and the option of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. In comparison, the Oppo K13 is available with only 8GB of RAM and the option of 128GB and 256GB of storage.
The display has a punch hole for a 16MP front-facing camera while the back is home to a 50MP f/1.8 primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome camera. The phone has a handful of AI features that help improve pictures. It can also record in 4K at 30 fps.
The Oppo K12s has stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, but lacks an audio jack. It packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging, and comes with a charger and case in the box. Oppo ships the K12s with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. It is presumed the Oppo K12s, like the Oppo K13, will receive 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates.
