Alongside the new Razr Ultra, there will also be a Motorola Razr+ 2025 for the US, and it is practically the Razr+ 2024 with better durability. It also retains the $999.99 price tag of last year's model, making it a cheaper alternative to the Razr Ultra.
This year, the US is getting not two but three Motorola foldable smartphones. The Motorola Razr Ultra a.k.a. Razr 60 Ultra in Europe is the new flagship but it has also announced the Razr+ 2025 as well as the Razr 2025. This article focuses on the Razr+ 2025 which sits in between the Ultra and the regular Razr.
The Razr+ 2025 shares most of its DNA with its predecessor, the Razr+ 2024. With respect to its appearance, buyers may not be able to tell both phones apart as the new Razr+ 2025 is available in the same Pantone Mocha Mousse and Hot Pink colors last year's model comes in. Although the 2025 model gets a new Midnight Blue color different from that of last year's. On the other hand, the weight and dimensions have stayed the same.

However, there's a big change, a significant one that puts the Razr+ 2025 on par with the new Razr Ultra. Unlike last year's phone which has an IPX8 dust and water resistance rating, the Razr+ 2025 has an IP48 rating.
Another big difference is the software. The Razr+ 2025 ships with Android 15 out of the box and it brings some new features to the device such as more ways to customize the home screen of the external display and a more advanced version of Moto AI.

Save for these differences, the Razr+ 2025 is no different from its predecessor. It still has a 6.9-inh LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a 4.0-inch 165Hz cover display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. It also has a 32MP front-facing camera, dual rear cameras, and a 4,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Motorola Razr+ 2025 will cost $999.99 in the US, the same launch price as the Razr+ 2024 which is currently available to buy for $799.99 on Amazon. This is also significantly lower than the Razr Ultra which starts at $1,300, thus making it a more affordable alternative.
