Leak reveals what the Moto Edge 70 looks like days after the Moto Edge 60's launch

Motorola recently took the wrap off the Moto Edge 60, and now a leak has revealed what its successor, the Moto Edge 70, will look like. The leak comes along another which revealed the design of the Moto G 2026 and Moto G Power 2026.

The leaked render, published by Android Headlines, shows the Moto Edge 70 will have a similar design to the Moto Edge 60. The display has a slight curve on two of its sides and the back is home to a triple camera setup housed in the same protruding camera island design as the Edge 60. The render shows the phone in a shade of green, but we can expect there will be other colors when it eventually arrives.

There are no technical specifications of the Moto Edge 70, but there are speculations that the phone will retain the camera sensors of the Moto Edge 60. It is also expected that Motorola will stick to a MediaTek processor, probably the Dimensity 7400 like the Razr 2025, and pair it with 12GB of RAM as standard across all configurations.

What is interesting is that the source speculates the Motorola Edge 70 may launch this year, specifically in late September based on the date on the lock screen of the render. The reasoning behind it is based on the fact that the Moto Edge 60 was announced on April 24, a day after the date on the lockscreen of the official renders.

However, in this case, while the date on the screen of the Moto Edge 70 render says Thursday, September 23, that date actually falls on a Tuesday, while Thursday is actually the 25th. It also couldn't be 2026 as September 23 of that year falls on a Wednesday. Considering there's no concrete evidence and the fact that it will only be a few months after the launch of the Edge 60, it is best to take the launch date with a pinch of salt.
