The Motorola Razr 2025 a.k.a. Razr 60 is the youngest sibling in this year's Razr series, sitting behind the new Razr Ultra and the Razr+ 2025. The new clamshell foldable will succeed the Razr 2024 which is sold outside the US as the Razr 50.
The Razr 2025 looks just like its predecessor and even has almost identical dimensions and weight. However, it comes in a range of new colors with varying material finishes. There's Pantone Gibraltar Sea which has a nylon-like texture; Pantone Spring Bud with its leather-like finish; Pantone Lightest Sky covered in acetate; and Pantone Parfait Pink which also has a leather-like finish. It isn't just that Razr 2025 looks more stunning in these new colors, it is also a bit more durable as it now boasts an IP48 dust and water resistant rating and a titanium-reinforced hinge.
The Razr 2025, has a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate while the 3.6-inch LTPOS pOLED display has a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, and like its siblings, it has support for Dolby Vision. Just as it did last year, Motorola has gone with MediaTek for the chipset powering the Razr 2025. It is the Dimensity 7400x and it is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
There are still dual rear cameras on the back and they remain a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide angle camera that can also take macro photos. It also has a 32MP front-facing camera. The Razr 2025 has stereo speakers but lacks an audio jack. It also has NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, dual SIM support (eSIM + physical SIM), a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and face unlock.
Motorola has bumped the battery of the Razr 2025 from 4,200mAh on its predecessor to 4,500mAh. It still charges at 30W with a wired charger that is sold separately and also has support for 15W wireless charging. Unsurprisingly, the phone ships with Android 15 and comes with Moto AI and Gemini Live.
The Motorola Razr 2025 will be available to pre-order in the US starting on May 7 for $699.99, the same launch price as the Razr 2024 (curr. available on Amazon for $599.99). It will be available to buy on May 15. It is already available in the UK and Europe where it costs £799.99 and €799.99 respectively.
