Motorola brings three new Razr devices with the Ultra featuring flagship specifications and a premium price tag to match. The phone comes in four unique finishes and starts at $1,300.

Motorola has announced its new generation of Razr phones and this time there are three models in the lineup. The Motorola Razr Ultra (US)/Motorola Razr 60 Ultra (global) is the flagship offering and brings the best of what Motorola has to offer with its foldable phones. Along with the processor, battery, charging, and camera upgrades, the company has redesigned the hinge for improved durability as well as dust and underwater protection. It also comes in four new finishes including a real wood finish.

Motorola Razr Ultra specifications

The Razr Ultra features a 7.0-inch 1224p AMOLED internal or main display that supports HDR10+, 10-bit color, up to 165Hz refresh rate with LTPO technology, and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The 4.0-inch pOLED cover or external display can also refresh at up to 165Hz but has a lower peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The cover display houses two of the three 50MP cameras, a primary and an ultrawide shooter with Macro capabilities. The third 50MP camera is located on the main display.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. It comes in 512GB and 1TB storage options. All this is backed by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower wired charging as well as 30W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging. The Motorola Razr Ultra has a physical SIM slot and supports eSIM as well. The phone measures 73.99x88.12x15.69mm when closed and 73.99x171.48x7.29mm when open, weighing 199 grams. With the Ultra, Motorola has managed to achieve IP48 dust and underwater protection compared to the IPX8 water-resistance on the Razr+ 2024.

Motorola is focusing on AI integration with the new Razr phones bringing moto ai prompts such as Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, and Remember This. Gemini assistant is accessible right from the cover display and there is a dedicated AI key to activate moto ai from anywhere. When in tent or stand mode, users can enable Look and Talk to converse with moto ai.
