Motorola is expected to officially unveil the Edge 60 Pro tomorrow alongside the Edge 60, Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra. In the meantime, last-minute leaks have shared almost all there is to know about Motorola's Edge 50 Pro successor.
On the one hand, Sudhanshu Ambhore has highlighted that the Edge 60 Pro should pack MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 chipset, just like the Honor Pad GT that arrived earlier today. As a result, the Edge 60 Pro should be about 20% more powerful than its predecessor but about the same amount down on last year's Edge 50 Ultra and Razr 50 Ultra (curr. $499 - refurbished on Amazon).
Regardless, the device is reputed to offer a 6,000 mAh battery capacity in a significant upgrade over its predecessor. Unfortunately, Motorola is anticipated to have dropped from 125 W to 90 W wired charging this time around; there is no word yet on wireless charging support, either. The Edge 60 Pro is tipped to launch with 50 MP primary, 50 MP ultra-wide-angle, 10 MP telephoto and 50 MP front-facing cameras too, all within a 161 x 73 x 8.24 mm case that houses a 6.67-inch and 120 Hz AMOLED display.
Reportedly, the Edge 60 Pro will ship with the promise of three Android updates from Android 15 onwards, plus a fourth year of Android security patch updates. On the other hand, there is some disagreement between leakers about the device's launch price. As it stands, Ambhore and billbil_kun are in agreeement that the Edge 60 Pro will only be available with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. However, the former believes that Motorola has priced its Edge 50 Pro successor at €599 (~$679). By contrast, billbil_kun claims that the Edge 60 Pro could cost upwards of €699 (~$792) with blue, green and pink launch colours. As it stands, there is no word yet on pricing for other markets.
