Over a month has passed since the last sighting of a Moto G55 appeared online. In the interim, Motorola has expanded its Moto G series with the Moto G Stylus 2025 (curr. $399.99 on Amazon). Although the company has not publicly said anything about offering further Moto G smartphones yet, there has been evidence to suggest that the Moto G86 is not far behind.
Now it seems that the Moto G56 can be added to that list. For context, the Moto G55 debuted a few months after the Moto G85 last year. While we are no closer to finding out when the Moto G56 will officially arrive, it has now been certified for sale by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) in the UAE. Often, a TDRA appearance is a sign that a device is only two or three months away from release, as has proven the case with the Huawei Watch 5.
In the meantime, the TDRA confirms that the Moto G56 will launch sporting the model number XT2529. If prior leaks are accurate, then the Moto G56 will leverage MediaTek's Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset and up to 8 GB of RAM for approximately €250 (~$285). Currently, the handset is anticipated to be available with 256 GB of storage too, as well as Black, Blue and Light Green (Dill) colour options.
