A leaker has shed new light on the OnePlus Nord 5, just after the company released the OnePlus 13T in China. Incidentally, while the device should eventually land in India as the OnePlus 13s, it does not seem destined to arrive in North America or Europe.
According to Debayan Roy, the Nord 5 will reach at least India. At this stage though, it is unclear whether OnePlus has wider plans for the Nord 5 as it has in the past with older models like the Nord N30 (curr. $268 on Amazon). With that being said, last year's Nord 4 made its way to Europe and the UK.
Regardless, Roy expects the Nord 5 to be officially available in June or July for INR 30,000 (~$355). Moreover, the leaker believes that the handset will step up to the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. Although still an unannounced chipset, the Dimensity 9400e has been tipped to underpin the Vivo X200 FE too.
Meanwhile, a circa 7,000 mAh battery that supports 100 W charging is expected to feature in the OnePlus Nord 5, as is a 1.5K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. 50 MP primary, 16 MP front-facing and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras should be onboard, as is a glass back and a plastic frame.
