It has been increasingly difficult to get your hands on a last-gen MacBook Air laptop because Apple has stopped selling it officially. Stock will eventually run out at third-party retailers, too, who are understandably trying to make room for the new M4 version. On that note, the Apple M3 powered 15-inch MacBook Air has received a substantial price cut on B&H Photo and Video.
You can buy the 16 GB RAM, 512 GB variant for just $999 on the platform. However, only the Starlight and Silver colourways are available at this price, with Midnight setting you back by an additional $100. Over at Amazon, the same configuration will set you back around the same price. An Apple M4 powered 15-inch MacBook Air with the same memory and storage configuration will set you back by $1,399 on Apple's website.
Our in-depth 15-inch M3 MacBook Air review praised it for its premium chassis, excellent speakers and industry defining battery life. But, as is the case with most Apple devices, there are some caveats. For starters, you get two USB-C ports, forcing you to invest in third-party docks for I/O expansion. Plus, Apple only ships a 35 Watt charger out of the box, and you'll have to fork out extra cash for something with higher Wattage.
