Nubia first teased the Z70S Ultra back in late March, and now, it has announced that the new camera flagship phone will make its official debut in China on April 28, 2025, which is around the corner. While this announcement didn't share the core specs of the upcoming camera-focused smartphone, it showcased the device's design details.
The official teaser images show the Nubia Z70S Ultra in two dual-tone colorways: black and orange. From the pictures, the device doesn't look much different than the non-S version of the phone. It will sport a triple-camera setup on the back, and as one of the recent teasers shared, the primary camera will have a 35 mm full-frame equivalent focal length. This would be a noticeable upgrade over the 24 mm main cameras found in most of the other flagship phones.
While Nubia didn't offer further details on this primary sensor of Z70S Ultra, a recent leak suggests that it would be a 1/1.3-inch camera, putting the upcoming flagship in the same alleyway as flagship phones like the Google Pixel 9 Pro. The new teasers, however, confirmed that the new smartphone would sport a true all-screen display with an under-display selfie camera.
This full-screen display will reportedly feature a "1.5K" resolution. Nubia's new Z70S Ultra is also expected to sport an ultrawide and a periscope telephoto sensor on the back, and under the hood, it's expected to pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Nubia may reveal more details about the phone in the coming days.
