Realme Buds T300 make a stylish debut with ANC and Spatial Audio for under US$30
The vibrant, ostensibly sci-fi themed design of Realme's Narzo 60x smartphone arguably makes the TWS earbuds that have launched alongside it look positively sedate by comparison. Indeed, the OEM asserts that "trendy meets premium" in the new Stylish Black (with a gold-ish interior to the charging case) and Youth White (with gray insert) finishes for the Buds T300.
The new T-series accessories actually boast the same 12.4mm "titanized" Dynamic Bass Driver, "HTW wire coil" and N52 magnet of the second-newest Realme Buds, the Air 5s. However, the T300s drop back down to 30dB ANC as opposed to the class-leading 50dB spec of the slightly older peripherals.
Similarly, the T300s boast 50 millisecond (ms) "Ultra-Low Latency" - a rating of 1ms worse than the Buds Air 5. Then again, the margins shift slightly with an estimated 40-hour battery life (with the case as a back-up) compared to 38 in the more expensive Air-series variants.
Both sets of buds also support the up-to-date Bluetooth 5.3 standard with indifferent AAC/SBC codec support. That is more acceptable in the Buds T300, however, as they will go for INR 2,299 (~US$28) in their initial market of India from September 12, 2023.
