OnePlus introduced its next-generation affordable tablet, the Pad Lite, at the OnePlus’ summer launch event earlier this month. Now, the brand has officially announced the Pad Lite in the Indian market. It comes as a direct successor to the OnePlus Pad Go (curr. available at $196.94 on Amazon) released in late 2023 and brings decent upgrades over the last-generation model in terms of processor and battery.
More specifically, the Pad Lite is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset (a step up from the Helio G99 of the Pad Go) coupled with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot here, meaning the tablet doesn’t support storage expansion. The battery of the tablet is now bigger than before, boasting a large 9,340 mAh battery (up from 8,000 mAh of the Pad Go) and supporting 33 W wired charging.
Furthermore, the budget Android tablet sports an 11-inch LCD display that delivers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The display also offers 70.8% NTSC color space coverage, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and a 90 Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has slightly slashed the display size of the Pad Lite compared to the Pad Go’s 11.35 inches.
Software-wise, it runs OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box, and there’s no word on software updates from the brand. However, the brand claims that the tablet will remain smooth for 3 years. Needless to say, OnePlus has also downgraded the camera compared to the last-generation model. The tablet now features a 5 MP camera on both sides. By contrast, the Pad Go was shipped with an 8 MP camera on the front and back.
Other features include an IP42 dust and water resistance rating, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and quad speakers with Hi-Res audio and support for SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC.
Available in a single aero blue colorway, the OnePlus Pad Lite starts at INR 15,999 for the Wi-Fi model with the 6 GB + 128 GB variant, and the 8 GB + 128 GB LTE model is priced at INR 17,999. It will be available via OnePlus India’s official website and other authorized retailers, starting from August 1, 2025.
