OnePlus Pad 3 Mini tipped to launch as small tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2

OnePlus is reportedly working on a small-sized tablet. Rumored to be called the OnePlus Pad 3 Mini, it's expected to feature a compact form factor, possibly similar to the RedMagic Astra. Now, while the global non-Mini version launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the upcoming rumored tab will seemingly get an upgrade.

To be specific, Digital Chat Station, a reliable Weibo tipster, reports that the upcoming small OnePlus tablet will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2. As for the name, the leaker didn't explicitly reveal it but has hinted that it could be called the Pad 3 Mini in China.

The global variant of this Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 tablet, on the other hand, could be named OnePlus Pad 4 Mini. To fill you in, the Chinese Pad 2 Pro launched in the international market as the Pad 3 (available on Amazon), so the upcoming tablet is expected to have a different moniker than the Chinese variant.

Regarding when OnePlus may launch this small Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 tablet, Digital Chat Station reports that it will be introduced alongside the OnePlus 15T, an upcoming small-sized flagship phone. This smartphone is also expected to feature a next-gen flagship chip from Qualcomm. It will reportedly have a 6.3-inch display and launch some time in the first half of 2026.

Compared to the current-gen OnePlus 13T (also known as 13R), the upcoming 15T is rumored to pack a larger battery, reaching the 7,000 mAh market. Past reports have also hinted that there will be improvements in terms of the camera setup and charging speed.
