While most affordable tablets feature displays with a diagonal of 10 to 12 inches, Doogee aims to offer more screen space at an attractive price. The Doogee Tab E3 Max offers a 14-inch display in 3:2 format, featuring a laminated IPS panel with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440, albeit with a refresh rate of only 60 Hz. The wide chin on one side suggests that Doogee is installing a panel originally intended for laptops.
Not only is the display large, but so is the battery, which has a capacity of 13,500 mAh. This is said to enable a runtime of 9.9 hours of video playback, 5.6 hours of web browsing or 76.9 hours of music playback. Charging is via USB-C at up to 18 watts, and the Tab E3 Max can also function as a power bank and charge smartphones at 10 watts. The MediaTek Helio G100 is likely to be responsible for the mediocre battery life despite the large battery.
The 6 nm ARM chip houses two somewhat outdated ARM Cortex-A76 performance cores with boost clock speeds up to 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz. The Doogee Tab E3 Max can also be used as a navigation device thanks to an integrated GPS module and an LTE modem. Quad speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 16 MP main camera round out off features. The tablet ships with Android 15, but Doogee is yet to comment on update support.
