GeForce Now Ultimate subscribers will now get the benefits of RTX 5080 GPUs including DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, 90 Hz game streaming on Steam Deck OLED, and 120 Hz on Legion Go S. Prices for the subscription remain unchanged.

Nvidia’s GeForce Now is its cloud gaming service that allows gamers access to over 2,000 games on the go. There are multiple tiers but the Ultimate tier is what brings the best performance, longer gaming sessions, and shorter queue times. Till now, this tier was powered by RTX 4080 GPUS but Nvidia is upgrading to RTX 5080 GPUs which not only expands the library of games significantly, but also brings higher FPS gaming on handhelds like the Steam Deck OLED and Lenovo Legion Go S.

As per the press release shared on Nvidia’s newsroom, the company is upgrading its GeForce Now platform with next generation (or current generation to be precise) hardware. The RTX 4080 servers are being upgraded with RTX 5080 GPUs and this brings several benefits to GeForce Now Ultimate subscribers. The library of games will double and over 4,500 titles will be accessible with the launch of Install-to-Play.

Furthermore, Steam Deck OLED (buy on Amazon) and Lenovo Legion Go S owners will be able to enjoy higher frame rates in their favorite games when steaming via GeForce Now. Valve upgraded the Steam Deck with an OLED model that brought a 90 Hz display and since the GeForce Now app is compatible with SteamOS, owners of the Steam Deck OLED will be able to stream games at up to 90 FPS. The Legion Go S, which also runs SteamOS, will be able to stream games at its maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz.

With the RTX 5080 integration, features like NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation and streaming up to 5K at 120 FPS will also be possible. LG TV’s that support the GeForce Now app will be able to stream games at 4K 120 Hz. Lastly, a new Cinematic-Quality Streaming (CQS) mode is being introduced which significantly improves graphical fidelity and image quality.

Prices for the GeForce Now Ultimate tier remain unchanged at $20 per month or $100 for six months.
