After posting this video (in low quality, unfortunately) that shows the upgrade process from Android 10 to Android 11 on my Mi 10T Pro, I started to discover various problems with the new firmware. Even more, I began to receive comments regarding various problems that I have been encountering post-update as well, so I decided to check out the XDA Developers Forums for some non-MIUI custom ROMs for my handset. Fortunately, the section that was empty a few months ago is now filling up (slowly, but surely) with interesting entries.
Nusantara Project for the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro is accompanied on the aforementioned forum by just a few other releases. In fact, there are only two other custom ROMs to mention in this moment: Pixel Experience (official) and ArrowOS (unofficial).
According to its official website, Nusantara Project is based on the well-known Android Open Source Project and comes without annoying bloatware, always uses the latest security patch from Google, top performance, as well as a flexible, easy to customize interface.
While it might be a new name for many of those reading this, the numbers that surround this project should say quite a few things about its popularity: Nusantara Project supports 34 devices, is followed by over 22,000 subscribers, and has been dowloaded by more than 200,000 times so far (by users of all the 34 devices supported, of course).
