Noah and Timex are teaming up once again, this time giving the classic MK1 field watch a nautical-inspired makeover. The $248 MK1 Anchor is their sportiest collaboration yet, arriving August 27 with a 36mm case, striped fabric straps, and an anchor-themed dial.

Timex’s collab watch with Huckberry might have been indefinitely delayed, but that’s not stopping the Waterbury watchmaker from releasing a new collaboration. Timex and New York-based men's clothing brand Noah are coming together for their fifth collaborative timepiece, and it’s their sportiest watch yet.

The new Noah x Timex MK1 Anchor is a simple, nautical-inspired field watch that looks ready for a day on the water. Sporting a stainless steel case that measures 36mm across, the watch takes Timex’s military-inspired MK1 and gives it a decidedly Noah makeover, complete with an anchor motif on the dial and a laser-engraved Noah logo on the case back.

As you can see in the images attached here, the watch features a pale dial with red and mint-green accents. Large Arabic numerals mark the even hours, while minute markers run around the outer edge. We also see Dauphine-style hour and minute hands, along with a seconds subdial at 6 o’clock featuring a prominent anchor graphic in a nod to the nautical theme of the collaboration. The watch comes fitted to a black fabric strap with red stripes, and it looks like you’ll also get a solid-blue fabric strap inside the box.

Timex and Noah haven’t detailed full specifications just yet, but GQ notes that the watch is powered by a quartz movement and features an acrylic crystal. It’s also rated for 30 meters of water resistance and features quick-release spring bars. That said, we would have loved to see at least 50 meters of water resistance here, especially for a watch built around a nautical theme.

In any case, the MK1 Anchor represents a nice change of pace for Noah and Timex. The brands’ previous collaborations, which include the superhit Tank, Sun and Moon, Lighthouse, and Oval Moon Phase, have largely focused on vintage-inspired dress watches.

The Noah x Timex MK1 Anchor will go on sale Thursday, August 27, at 11 AM ET. It's priced at $248 and will be available through Noah’s website and physical stores.
