Timex’s new Peanuts x Marlin Chronograph pairs a ’60s-inspired racing design with Snoopy and Woodstock on its blue sunray dial.
Timex’s new Peanuts-themed Marlin Chronograph blends 1960s racing-watch styling with playful Snoopy and Woodstock details, including a “50” tribute to the comic strip’s 1950 debut. Priced at $279/£230, the quartz-powered watch features a 40mm stainless steel case, blue sunray dial, tachymeter scale, and 50-meter water resistance.

After launching three handsome Todd x Marlin Mesh watches in late July, Timex is expanding the Marlin series with another affordable timepiece. The latest entry takes the ’60s-inspired Marlin Chronograph and adds Snoopy and Woodstock on the dial, joining the Peanuts x Timex Marlin Chronograph Joe Cool that arrived in March.

The new Marlin Chronograph (TW2Y85300) is essentially a Snoopyfied version of the Marlin Chronograph Tachymeter that debuted in February 2025, sporting the same 40mm polished stainless steel case, domed acrylic crystal, and blue perforated leather strap. What's different this time around is that the new version swaps the original muted blue dial for a richer blue sunray dial.

The racing-inspired design remains intact, with orange and light blue vertical stripes cutting across the dial. Snoopy takes up residence in the 9 o’clock subdial against a yellow-and-blue checkered pattern, while Woodstock appears near the central chronograph hand.

There’s also a clever nod to Peanuts history hiding in plain sight, with the 3 o’clock subdial prominently displaying a large “50,” a reference to 1950, the year Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip debuted.

Underneath the vintage-inspired styling is a quartz analog chronograph movement that lets you track elapsed time using the pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. A tachymeter scale around the perimeter reinforces the racing theme, and you can use it to calculate average speed over a measured distance. You also get retro square markers at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock.

The quartz chronograph movement is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case measuring 48mm from lug to lug and 13.5mm thick. The watch is rated for 50 meters of water resistance.

Timex's new Marlin Chronograph featuring Snoopy is now up for grabs for $279 / £230 directly from the brand's online store. If you can live without the Snoopy makeover, the regular model is still around, and you can pick it up for just $209 on Amazon
