Timex has expanded the Waterbury Heritage Chronograph lineup with two new models. The TW2Y93300 and TW2Y93400 feature 39 mm stainless-steel cases, meca-quartz movements, tachymeter bezels, and perforated leather straps. Both watches are now available in the US.

Timex has expanded its Waterbury Heritage Chronograph lineup with what Timex describes as two new motorsport-inspired models. The watches feature 39 mm stainless-steel cases, meca-quartz movements, tachymeter bezels, and perforated leather racing straps. Both watches are now available in the US for $319. The expansion comes shortly after Timex introduced four updated Waterbury Classic models. The new TW2Y93300 and TW2Y93400 join the existing Waterbury Heritage Chronograph range.

Both watches use a 39 mm brushed and polished stainless-steel case measuring 46 mm and 13.5 mm thick. A black stainless-steel tachymeter bezel surrounds the dial, while a double-domed K1 mineral glass crystal with an anti-reflective coating sits above it. Timex has also fitted luminous hands and applied indices for improved low-light visibility.

The TW2Y93300 combines a black dial with contrasting sub-dials and a perforated black natural leather strap. The TW2Y93400 adds gold-tone detailing and pairs the case with a much more conspicuous perforated red leather strap. Both models also get a red anodised chronograph pusher, further leaning into the motorsport theme. The 20 mm straps use quick-release spring bars and fit wrists measuring between 150 mm and 205 mm.

A meca-quartz chronograph movement powered by an SR936SW battery is inside both watches. The hybrid movement combines quartz timekeeping with a mechanical chronograph module, giving the chronograph seconds hand a smooth sweeping motion. The chronograph can also be used with the tachymeter bezel to calculate average speed.

Water resistance is rated at 50 metres, putting the new Waterbury Heritage models below Timex’s more rugged sports watches but making them suitable for short swims. The dimensions remain relatively compact for a chronograph, although the 13.5 mm case is considerably thicker than the recently updated 10 mm Waterbury Classic.

The Timex Waterbury Heritage Chronograph TW2Y93300 and TW2Y93400 are priced at $319 each and are currently listed as new on Timex’s US store.
