Ubisoft reveals playable Gamescom 2026 lineup

Ubisoft has confirmed its plans for Gamescom 2026, running August 26 to 30 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. The publisher's booth in Hall 6.1, Booth C011-B010, opens to the public from August 27 to 30 and pairs hands-on demo stations with developer panels and live broadcasts.
Rayman Legends Retold headlines the show floor
Rayman Legends Retold anchors Ubisoft's booth. The game is a reimagining of the 2013 platformer Rayman Legends, rebuilt in the Snowdrop engine with new 3D visuals, a brand-new story, and fully voiced cinematics. Development is led by Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan, with associate studio support from Annecy, Berlin, Bordeaux, Paris, Düsseldorf, and Shanghai, alongside Pastagames. The soundtrack blends returning themes with new compositions from Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope.
The booth offers 15 two-player couch co-op stations running a 20-minute hands-on demo covering the opening level, a dragon-riding sequence, and a returning musical stage. A larger-than-life inflatable Rayman will also be on the show floor. Rayman Legends Retold launches October 1 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, priced at $39.99 for the standard edition, which bundles Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition.
Alongside Rayman, Ubisoft is running demo stations for Assassin's Creed Shadows, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Anno 117: Pax Romana, The Division 2, Rainbow Six Siege, The Crew Motorfest, For Honor, Atomega, and Morbid Metal.
Community Lounge returns with developer panels
Ubisoft's Community Lounge is back at the Gamescom booth, hosting developer talks and community programming throughout the show. Confirmed sessions include developer panels for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and Assassin's Creed Shadows, a live Rainbow Six Siege Community Checkpoint, a DLC and content announcement for Anno 117: Pax Romana, a roadmap update for The Division 2, and Rayman anniversary celebrations with new reveals. The full daily schedule will be posted on digital displays at the venue.
Select panels and sessions will stream globally on Ubisoft's official Twitch and YouTube channels from August 26 to 29, giving fans who cannot attend the chance to follow along.
