Neverness to Everness Version 1.3, Rising from the Moonlit Fog, launches August 19 with new characters Zankou and Linko, the Scarlet Letter finale, and new areas Fogden and Duskmoor.

Perfect World Games and Hotta Studio have detailed Version 1.3 for the supernatural urban open-world RPG Neverness to Everness, titled "Rising from the Moonlit Fog." The update was revealed during an August 8 preview livestream and launches globally on August 19, 2026, bringing a story conclusion, two new areas, two new S-Class characters, and a summer event lineup.

New Fogden and Duskmoor areas, and the Scarlet Letter arc concludes

The centerpiece of Version 1.3 is a new story chapter, also titled Rising from the Moonlit Fog, that closes out the Scarlet Letter arc, picking up from where Version 1.1's Corridor of Echoes left off. The chapter takes players into Fogden, an ever-shifting domain built to simulate a scenario devised by the Scarlet Letter faction, and Duskmoor, a forest-themed zone centered on driving routes and a launch ramp for aerial stunts. The update also adds a new Location Anomaly tied to the expanded map.

Zankou and Linko join the roster across two banner phases

Version 1.3 introduces two new S-Class characters. Zankou, an Incantation-type Gas Esper aligned with the Scarlet Letter faction, headlines the first banner phase, running from August 19 to September 9. Linko, an Anima-type Plasma Esper built around synchronizing team attacks, follows in the second phase, from September 9 to September 30. Each phase lasts 21 days, matching the game's usual banner cadence.

Summer events add new vehicles, outfits, and a new property

Alongside the story and character content, Version 1.3 adds a summer event built around new minigames, including Volley Star, Surf Breaker, and Shipwreck Salvage, plus a new jet ski called The Tide. Players can also purchase a new property, Stillmeadow House, using the in-game currency Fons, which introduces a crop-growing mechanic that consumes City Stamina in exchange for sellable produce. New outfits arrive for Zankou and Linko, alongside a set of summer-themed swimsuits for other characters.
