HoYoverse confirms Zenless Zone Zero will be at Gamescom

Following the global rollout of Zenless Zone Zero's Version 3.1 anniversary update, HoYoverse has detailed its Gamescom 2026 exhibition plans and confirmed further specifics on its first crossover with sister title Honkai: Star Rail.
Gamescom 2026 booth confirmed for Cologne
With players now working through the newly added permanent mode "Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel," HoYoverse has turned its attention to offline community events. The publisher has secured exhibition space at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, running from August 26 to 30 at Koelnmesse Hall 6.1, Booth B030. HoYoverse will also run a separate business-facing booth at Hall 4.2, Booth B051, marking its first appearance in Gamescom's dedicated industry and media area.
Zenless Zone Zero shares the roughly 660-square-meter consumer space with Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. Confirmed booth activities include a vinyl listening session, a Bangboo-themed photo wall, cosplay runway shows, trivia challenges, and merchandise such as card holders, holographic tickets, and button badges. The push follows the game's Steam debut in June, part of a broader effort to grow its PC and console audience in Europe.
Crossover with Honkai Star Rail set for winter
HoYoverse has also confirmed a crossover between Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail, first teased by an in-game "bug" that placed Honkai: Star Rail's Pom-Pom in New Eridu and later officially confirmed during the Version 3.1 livestream. It marks the first crossover between the two titles, though Zenless Zone Zero has run other brand collaborations before, including partnerships with Kyuramen and Aston Martin.
Unverified leaks circulating since the announcement suggest the crossover could involve a character swap, with Zenless Zone Zero's Ellen and Astra Yao potentially joining Honkai: Star Rail's roster while Honkai: Star Rail's Robin appears in Zenless Zone Zero. HoYoverse has not confirmed any of these details and says that further information will be shared through official channels closer to the event.
The event is scheduled for winter 2026, with HoYoverse yet to confirm an exact date or full scope. Separately, audio manufacturer Moondrop has been confirmed as a hardware partner, producing a Sparxie-themed line of wireless earphones and accessories tied to the collaboration.
