Timex launches new compact collab watch with a sunray gold dial

We usually see Timex's Peanuts collaborations on field and sport watches. However, the newest one is a bit of a surprise. The Legacy Mini Heart Hug puts Snoopy on a 25 mm gold-tone dress watch with a fluted bezel and a jubilee-style bracelet.
The reference is TW6A07400, priced at $229. The standard Timex Legacy Mini it is based on costs $179 in the same 25 mm steel case and bracelet, so we can assume that the artwork comes with a $50 premium.
That artwork is lower on the dial than usual. Snoopy is hugging a pink heart below the centre. The space above left is where the Timex logo is present, overlaid on the sunray finish. Applied indices mark the hours instead of printed ones.
Timex describes the dial as "a delicate shade of gold," with a sunray brushing that shifts as the watch moves. A fluted bezel rings it. Plus, the bracelet is made of brushed and polished gold-tone stainless steel in a five-link arrangement.
At 25 mm this is the smallest watch in Timex's Peanuts range by some margin. The Expedition references are 40 mm. A better comparison would be the 24 mm Q Timex Continental Mini. A battery-powered quartz analog movement runs the watch, under a mineral crystal. Timex does not publish a caliber, case thickness or water resistance rating for the reference.
Solely based on the new launches covered in the past few days, the Peanuts range starts at $119 for the Expedition Acadia up to $379 for the Marlin Jet Automatic Easy Rider, with the Waterbury Classic, MK1 and Legacy Snoopy Umbrella between them.
Timex and Peanuts have collaborated for decades. The Legacy Mini Heart Hug is now listed on Timex's US and EU stores.
