New Lenovo Legion Go gaming handhelds could arrive in 7-inch and 8-inch variants with dual fans and dedicated HDMI ports
Lenovo has been steadily improving the Legion Go (curr. $539.99 - refurbished on Amazon) in recent months with features likes AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3.1 (FSR 3.1) and frame generation support. With that being said, complaints remain from Legion Go owners of a lack of official support, whether that be frequent driver updates or broken functionality within the Legion Space app. Rather than addressing those issues directly, it seems that Lenovo could be on the verge of introducing new hardware instead.
To recap, Lenovo has been rumoured for months to be developing a smaller option, which Windows Central referred to as the 'Legion Go Lite'. While the website did not provide any specifics about the device, a Redditor has spotted what could be references to this rumoured device on Lenovo's website. Surprisingly, the same website implies that a pair of new Legion Go gaming handhelds could be on the horizon, not just a Legion Go Lite.
Specifically, Lenovo states that the Legion Go's display size 'varies depending on the model', despite only a single 8.8-inch model existing at the time of writing. As the image below shows, Lenovo adds that the Legion Go comes in 7-inch or 8-inch display sizes, as well as with dual fans and a dedicated HDMI port regardless of the display size. Given that these latter two are also missing on the current Legion Go, it seems that Lenovo could be preparing to replace or augment its existing system with two other systems. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when that will be the case at this stage, though.
