New EMUI 10 global update release schedule for Huawei phones revealed

It's been five months since Android 10 was released and most OEMs have sent out updates to their flagship phones. Huawei actually has, too, but a new list of devices that will receive the EMUI 10 update has now surfaced, with all the usual suspects listed.

The list is as follows:

• Huawei Mate 20
• Huawei Mate 20 X
• Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design
• Huawei Mate 20 X 5G
• Huawei Mate 20 Lite
• Huawei nova 5T
• Huawei nova 4e
• Huawei nova 4
• Huawei P20
• Huawei P20 Pro
• Huawei Mate 10
• Huawei Mate 10 Pro
• Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
• Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design
• Huawei P Smart 2019 (sold in Japan as Huawei nova lite 3)
• Huawei P Smart+ 2019
• Huawei P Smart Pro

Again, it's important to reiterate that a number of devices on this list have received the EMUI 10 update already: The Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, P30, P30 Pro, and P Smart (2019). A couple others have received the beta OTA in China. Other phones are expected to receive the update "in later months".

We expect older-gen Kirin 970-powered flagships like the Mate 10 Pro and P20 Pro to start getting the EMUI 10 update in the near future, perhaps by the end of Q1. That will, of course, be the last major update the phones receive.
