Motorola brings new foldable smartphone to global audiences with dual 50 MP cameras

Motorola has replaced the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra globally today with the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra. At the same time, the company has also added a Plus model to its global clamshell foldable lineup.
For context, Motorola launched three clamshell foldables last year in North America. In other words, the Razr 70 Plus serves as a replacement for the Razr Plus 2025 (curr. $539 on Amazon) with a limited set of upgrades over its effective predecessor. For instance, Motorola continues to equip its Plus- branded Razr with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
Seemingly, Motorola has included the same 4-inch cover and 6.9-inch foldable displays, too. Also, while 45 W wired and 15 W wireless charging capabilities return, they now work with a 4,500 mAh battery rather than a 4,000 mAh capacity found in the Razr Plus 2025.
Moreover, the Razr 70 Plus features different camera hardware, with 50 MP primary (f/1.8), 50 MP ultra-wide (122° FoV) and 32 MP inner cameras. Motorola has priced the Razr 70 Plus at €1,149 (~$1,345) in the Eurozone with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The company has also confirmed that the device will only be available in a Pantone Mountain View finish.
