iQoo launches two new smartphones globally with refreshed designs

iQoo has officially unveiled its latest Z-series smartphones, namely, the iQoo Z11 and the iQoo Z11x, in the global market. To recall, the company introduced the Z11 series smartphones earlier this year in China. The global variants bring a new design and tweaked features. For example, the iQoo Z11 China variant is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the global variant ships with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.
It packs up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion. The battery capacity of the smartphone remains the same as the China variant, featuring a massive 9,020 mAh battery that supports 90 W wired charging (Ugreen Nexode 100 W charger curr. at $33.23 on Amazon). Unfortunately, it lacks wireless and reverse-wired charging support despite boasting a huge battery capacity. For the lens, there’s a dual-camera setup at the rear, consisting of a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Upfront, you get a 32 MP snapper for selfies and video chats. The smartphone boasts a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 2800 x 1260p resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it measures 8.25 mm (0.32 inch) in thickness and weighs around 213 grams (0.46 lbs).
The Z11x is the slightly inferior version of the iQoo Z11. It features a 6.76-inch FHD+ 120 Hz LCD display, a 50 MP main camera, a 7,200 mAh battery, up to 12 GB of RAM, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. It runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box, and there’s no word on its software support from the brand.
Available in blue and black colorways, the iQoo Z11 starts at MYR 1,599 ($407) for the base 8 GB + 256 GB model. While the iQoo Z11x is priced at MYR 1,099 ($280) for the base 8 GB + 128 GB model. Interested buyers can now purchase both smartphones directly from Vivo Malaysia’s online store. As of now, the Z11 series smartphones are available in Malaysia. iQoo will gradually roll out devices in other markets in the coming weeks.
