Motorola's next-generation folding flagship will be officially unveiled in just a few days. A leak reveals a promo video of the smartphone in advance, which primarily demonstrates how versatile the large secondary display of the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026, also known as Razr 70 Ultra, can be used.

Motorola has already confirmed that the successors to the Razr 2025 ($549 on Amazon)  and Razr 2025 Ultra will be officially unveiled on April 29. The reliable leaker Evan Blass has now been able to publish new images and even a promo video of the Razr Ultra 2026 in advance. In regions other than the US, this phone is expected to launch as Razr 70 Ultra.

As expected, the design hardly changes, with the Razr Ultra 2026 being offered in either blue or brown. The promo video primarily demonstrates the capabilities of the 4-inch secondary display. Among other things, it can display the current time, with Motorola offering numerous different designs, some of which can also be supplemented with your own photos. Some of these designs display additional information, such as the weather forecast, the date or the remaining battery charge.

When the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 is charging, the secondary display visualizes the charging process. Another particularly practical feature is the option of using the secondary display as a viewfinder to take selfies with the 50 MP main camera or the 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The camera's self-timer can be activated with a hand gesture, while the hinge can also be used as a camera tripod.

According to earlier rumors the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 will hardly receive any upgrades apart from a slightly larger 5,000 mAh battery - Motorola is even said to be using the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was already used in the predecessor model. Nevertheless, the price is set to rise from $1,299 to $1,499.
