Motorola has equipped the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 (Razr 70 Ultra) (approximately US$ 1,500 on amazon.com) with a larger battery capacity of 5,000 milliampere-hours. This makes the battery slightly more powerful than in previous generations.
Comparable battery capacities on the market
The Razr 60 Ultra offers 4,700 milliampere-hours, which is 300 less than the current model. The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 comes in at 5,165 milliampere-hours and is slightly ahead. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip7, on the other hand, has only 4,300 milliampere-hours. Motorola thus positions itself solidly in the upper tier in terms of battery capacity.
Power consumption measured under load
In idle mode—that is, under light load—the device consumes up to 1.6 watts, which is quite high compared to others in its class. Nevertheless, it delivers respectable battery life of up to 16 hours and 14 minutes in our Wi-Fi Web browsing test.
Everyday scenario: Commuting and office work
For regular train commutes and office use, the battery typically lasts a full day. Navigation apps and video conferences, of course, drain the battery more than just reading.
