Vivo shows mid-range smartphone with 10,200 mAh battery days before launch

The Vivo Y600 Pro mid-range smartphone even surpasses the Vivo X300 Ultra, at least in one respect: the battery capacity. Vivo has published teaser images on the Chinese social network Weibo, confirming that the Vivo Y600 Pro will be officially unveiled on Monday, April 27.
The mid-range smartphone has a modern but rather inconspicuous design with a flat plastic frame and a large, round camera module that only houses two lenses. The label on the camera module confirms that the main camera is equipped with a 50 megapixel sensor. However, the highlight of the Vivo Y600 Pro is the battery, which has a capacity of 10,200 mAh.
According to Vivo, this battery allows a standby runtime of 16.7 days, while a battery life of twelve hours is said to be possible under high load. The battery can be fully charged in 80 minutes via a 90 watt USB-C charger. Vivo promises a battery lifespan of at least six years. The body of the Vivo Y600 Pro is IP68 and IP69 certified and therefore waterproof.
The Vivo Y600 Pro is said to be equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a brand new MediaTek Dimensity 7300e. At least one variant will have 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory. The smartphone will be shipped with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Details on the other features should be confirmed by the launch on April 27 at the latest.
