The rumor mill for the Redmi K50 Ultra continues to spin. Last week, word on the grapevine seemed to indicate that Xiaomi could be readying the range-topping model for launch next month, and that report appears to have substance to it as the Redmi K50 Ultra has now received even more certifications in China, alongside another premium phone.
Said premium phone looks to be the upcoming Mix Fold 2. The Mix Fold 2, with the model number "22061218C" or "L18" has received more certifications in China. The Mix Fold 2 looks set to come in two flavors: a 12/512 GB model, and a pricier 1 TB SKU. The Redmi K50 Ultra, on the other hand, bears the model number "22081212C" or " L12", and will be offered with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The fact that both devices were filed on the same day may indicate Xiaomi's plans to launch them at the same event. Both phones will feature Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and will almost definitely not be sold outside China.
