Xiaomi has provided an overview of devices that will receive Android 13, the next major update for Android smartphones and tablets. With Android 13 a month or so away from reaching stable status, Xiaomi has updated its Security Center to reflect some of the devices that it will upgrade to Android 13, including several from its Redmi and POCO series.

Xiaomi has outlined some of the devices that will receive Android 13, the last beta update for which Google released earlier this month. While Google promised to deliver a stable release in the next few weeks, Xiaomi is likely to take longer to upgrade its devices to Android 13. For reference, Android 13 will arrive on POCO, Redmi and Xiaomi devices as MIUI 14, the first signs of which we discussed yesterday.

In saying that, MIUI 14 is likely to arrive based on Android 12 in some cases, which is why Xiaomi will offer the former to nearly 125 devices. As for Android 13, Xiaomi lists the following fifteen devices as being on track to receive Android 13. Incidentally, they also feature the Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) Seal, a certification provided by Google to highlight devices that meet the company's enterprise product requirements.

  • POCO M3 Pro 5G
  • POCO M4 Pro
  • POCO X4 Pro 5G
  • Redmi 10
  • Redmi 10 2022
  • Redmi 10C
  • Redmi Note 11
  • Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G
  • Redmi Note 11 Pro+
  • Redmi Note 11S
  • Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
  • Xiaomi 11T
  • Xiaomi 11T Pro
  • Xiaomi 12
  • Xiaomi 12 Pro

Undoubtedly, more devices than those listed above will see Android 13 at some stage. For example, the Mi 11 is missing, as is the Mi 11 Ultra. Unfortunately, it is unclear when Xiaomi will begin rolling out Android 13 updates to any of its devices. Typically, Xiaomi will run a beta program before doing so, which usually arrives after Google releases a stable build to AOSP. As for MIUI 14, Xiaomiui believes that Xiaomi could announce its OS upgrade on August 16. There is no official confirmation of this yet though, so there is no guarantee that this will be the case.
