Lenovo launches new budget gaming monitor with HDMI 2.1 and AMD FreeSync Premium
Lenovo has expanded its budget gaming series with a new monitor. For context, the company already sells the LOQ 27-10, LOQ 27Q-10 and the LOQ 32Q-10. Also, it released the smaller LOQ 24-10 earlier this year (curr. $140 on Amazon).
Now, it has added to these monitors with the LOQ 25-10. For the time being, we cannot find listings on any of Lenovo's many regional websites. Instead, the company has added the LOQ 25-10 to its Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website.
In the process, Lenovo has confirmed availability across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. However, it seems that the company does not currently intend to offer the LOQ 25-10 in North America. Unfortunately, pricing and availability for all markets remain unknown for now.
Nonetheless, Lenovo has revealed all key hardware specifications. For instance, the LOQ 25-10 leverages a 24.5-inch IPS panel that outputs at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Delivering an 89 PPI, the panel also boasts 300 nits peak brightness, 0.5 ms MPRT response times, 10-bit colour depth (8-bit + FRC) and 99% sRGB colour space coverage.
Moreover, the LOQ 25-10 offers a 280 Hz refresh rate to surpass its 24-inch counterpart. On top of that, the new monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA Adaptive Sync technologies to mitigate image tearing. Lenovo equips the LOQ 25-10 with DisplayPort 1.4 (HBR2) and HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) ports, too. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
