Best Buy now makes this Lenovo offer look ridiculous, as the retailer is selling a more powerful version of the Legion Pro 5i 16 for less money.
To be more precise, you can currently buy the Gen 10 Lenovo Legion Pro 5i with an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, a Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and a 240 Hz 1600p OLED display for just $2,149.99. This sales price is $1,200 lower than the full list price according to Best Buy.
While we would’ve liked to see an even lower price, almost every core component that goes into making a gaming laptop is now much more expensive than last year. So, the Legion Pro 5i 16 Gen 10 with the RTX 5070 Ti for $2,149.99 is a pretty good deal in today’s market.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5i is a superb gaming and creator laptop
To sum up our review, the Legion Pro 5i is plenty powerful for gaming at FHD/QHD at high refresh rates thanks to the impressive RTX 5070 Ti and the Core Ultra 9 275HX. The display is also up to the task, as it refreshes at up to 240 Hz with over 550 nits of SDR brightness, full coverage of sRGB/DCI-P3 gamut, and super responsiveness. The panel also comes pre-calibrated, making it perfect for content creators.
Sadly, Legion Pro 5i 16 doesn’t carry an SD card reader, which is a strange omission for a gaming-creator laptop. You will need to rely on an external SD card reader (get one on Amazon).
The Legion Pro 5 also shines in other aspects like chassis build quality, keyboard/touchpad performance, and thermals. Battery life, however, is a different matter, as the laptop can only manage around 5 hours of WLAN use at 60 Hz. This is not surprising, as the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i is meant to be mostly plugged in.
