Xiaomi unveils TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 Supreme Edition with 5500 nits and 170W audio

Xiaomi has introduced the TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 Supreme Edition, a premium television that builds on the company’s standard 2027 models with higher brightness and a more capable integrated audio system. Its RGB-Mini LED panel uses separate red, green and blue light sources, with Xiaomi claiming 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut and around 30% lower power consumption during single-color scenes.

The display reaches 5,500 nits of peak brightness, an increase of 500 nits over the standard version, and features a 0.5% low-reflection coating intended to reduce glare. Xiaomi’s XM9000 processor handles image processing, including color accuracy and contrast control. The television promises native 4K resolution at 180Hz, with a 360Hz gaming mode, alongside VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and four HDMI 2.1 ports.

Audio has also received a substantial hardware upgrade. The Supreme Edition replaces the standard model’s 130W 2.1.2-channel system with a 170W 4.1.2-channel configuration that incorporates upward-firing speakers, dedicated surround channels and a subwoofer. The system is tuned by Harman and supports Dolby Atmos. Further specs include a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and HyperOS 4. A millimeter-wave radar is said to be able to detect viewer positioning and adjust picture and sound settings accordingly.

The TV is currently available in China in 65-, 75-, 85- and 98-inch versions. Prices start at 6,299 yuan ($945) for the 65-inch model and rise to 13,999 yuan ($2,100) for the 98-inch version, with 2,160 to 4,860 local dimming zones respectively. Xiaomi has not announced global availability. Comparable alternatives are to be found in TCL's QM8L series, which also comes in sizes of 65-, 75- and 85 inches.
