Lenovo launches affordable Legion gaming monitor with 240Hz refresh rate

The Lenovo Legion 27Q-2C is a new gaming monitor that has been launched in China. It features a VA panel that has a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, and the refresh rate stands at 240Hz.

Lenovo notes that the 1ms (GtG) response time, combined with the 240Hz refresh rate, makes this curved Legion gaming monitor an ideal pick for competitive gaming. While it's a VA panel, the company highlights that its color coverage is 99% in sRGB and 95% in DCI-P3, which are respectable numbers.

In addition, the display sports a 400 nits brightness rating, and it has the HDR400 certification. So, the monitor is good enough for more than just gaming. The port selection is decent, but it's nothing fancy. Specifically, it has one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports.

Getting back to the curved nature of the monitor, Lenovo highlights that it has a 1500R curvature, tagged to be "golden." For reference, the Samsung Odyssey G55C, for example, has a more curved display with its 1000R curvature (curr. $234.99 on Amazon).

Other highlights include VESA AdaptiveSync, FreeSync Premium, an adjustable stand, and a sleek overall design. Lenovo launched the Legion 27Q-2C in China with a price tag of CNY 1,279, around $190. It appears to be listed on the AU store, but doesn't seem to be available in the US yet. Lenovo has also listed the monitor on its PSREF website.
