Lenovo launches affordable 200Hz gaming monitor with 27-inch IPS display

Lenovo has launched a new affordable gaming monitor under the Lecoo branding in China. It's the Lecoo N2757Q, and one of the main highlights is the native refresh rate of 200Hz, which can be further bumped to 210Hz through overclocking.

The gaming monitor has a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, and Lenovo says that it has a 1ms (GTG) response time. This display is also said to have a 121% sRGB color coverage, and the DCI-P3 coverage is at 96%. These ratings don't make it the most color-accurate gaming monitor out there, but it's still higher than competitors like the MSI MAG 274F (curr. $129.99 on Amazon).

Another notable highlight is that the IPS panel has a brightness rating of 400 nits, which makes it comply with the HDR400 standard. Lenovo further notes that dedicated game modes can give users a competitive edge in FPS and RTS games.

There's nothing interesting happening in the port selection, but the gaming monitor does come with a decent number of ports, including two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports. This setup allows the Lecoo N2757Q to be connected with multiple devices at the same time.

An adjustable stand, VESA support, and a minimalistic design are among the other highlights of the gaming monitor. Lenovo launched the Lecoo N2757Q in China at CNY 799, about $118. It's unclear whether the company will launch it outside the Chinese market, as the Lecoo-branded products don't have a wide presence in the international market.
