Lenovo launches new 15-inch budget laptop globally with 120 Hz display and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset
Earlier today, we reported that Lenovo had launched the IdeaPad Slim 3 14Q7X11. Listed on its PSREF website, the 14-inch laptop combines a 50 Wh battery with Qualcomm's low-powered Snapdragon C chipset for a claimed 33 hours of battery life.
Simultaneously, the company has unveiled a 15-inch counterpart, too. For the time being, the IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q7X11 is not officially available. However, European retailers have already posted early listings ranging from €400 to €569 (~$459/~$653). Hence, we imagine that the new 15-inch laptop will be on the cheaper side when it officially launches.
In the meantime, PSREF confirms that the IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q7X11 matches its 14-inch counterpart with up to 33 hours of battery life from a 50 Wh battery. Likewise, the 15-inch model contains the Snapdragon C C11-0100, an octa-core chipset that will likely trail the Snapdragon X X1-26-100 we tested in last year's IdeaPad Slim 15Q8QX10 (curr. $699 on Amazon).
Compared to its 14-inch sibling, the IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q7X11 adds a built-in number pad, which pushes its keyboard and trackpad leftward. Also, Lenovo's 15-inch model will be available with an optional 120 Hz touchscreen display, which the IdeaPad Slim 3 14Q7X11 lacks. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
