Although there are quite a few Gigabyte BRIX Extreme mini PCs on the market already, no less than six have been unveiled at the end of last week and they're most likely going to hit the market this fall. The most potent one is the GB-BER7-7840, which is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor and features AMD Radeon RDMA3 780M graphics, as well as DDR5-5600 support.
The other upcoming mini PCs (model names GB-BER5-7535, GB-BER3-7335, GB-BER5H-7535, GB-BER3H-7335, and GB-BER5HS-7535) use the AMD Ryzen 5 7535U and AMD Ryzen 3 7335U processors with AMD Radeon RDMA2 660M graphics and DDR5-4800 memory. The list of common features includes 2.5 GbE LAN and WiFi 6E alongside Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, 2 X HDMI 2.1, mini DP (DP 1.4), USB-C (with DP 1.4 alternate mode) video outputs. There are also a pair of USB 2.0 Type A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C, as well as a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type A trio.
Gigabyte also provides an optional upgrade kit that features an I/O expander with a second LAN port, RS232 comms port, as well as an M.2 2280 slot. All these Gigabyte BRIX Extreme machines are bundled with a VESA bracket so they can be installed in setups where there is little room to spare.
We will get back to these updated Gigabyte BRIX Extreme mini PCs once their prices and launch dates become public, so stay tuned.
