Garmin has issued the first beta update for the vivoactive 6 smartwatch. This wearable launched at the start of April 2025, with features like an AMOLED display, GPS tracking and up to 11 days of battery life.
Beta version 10.10 brings three new features to the vivoactive 6. These include a new Table Tennis activity and support for the Garmin Share app, which allows you to share data with compatible Garmin devices like an Edge cycling computer or another smartwatch. Plus, the sleep glance now supports breathing variations data, which you can use to track how consistent your respiration is throughout the night.
Garmin has also tackled an issue that could cause certain animations to freeze on the vivoactive 6 smartwatch. On top of this, GCM translations have been updated to version 2.50. At the time of writing, there are no user reports of any bug fixes associated with this beta update.
You can download beta version 10.10 by going to the Main menu > Settings > System > Software Update > Check For Updates. It appears that the update is already available for all users of the vivoactive 6 smartwatch (curr. $299.99 at Amazon). If you want to join the Garmin beta program, you can sign up via Garmin Connect.
