Garmin has issued another public beta update for the Forerunner 165, Forerunner 255, Forerunner 265, Forerunner 955 and Forerunner 965 smartwatches. Version 23.15 has arrived a couple of weeks after beta version 23.13. Like its predecessor, the latest update focuses on bug fixes.
The change log for beta version 23.15 states that it tackles issues linked to missing on-device Stress History for these five Garmin Forerunner wearables. For all models aside from the Forerunner 165, there are three further fixes. For users who log Multisport activities, distance values for workouts where this is irrelevant, such as yoga, have been removed.
In the Bouldering activity, an issue where the data screen was configured incorrectly has been resolved. Plus, a bug which caused audio prompts to play despite the necessary sensor being disconnected has been addressed. The final line of the release notes states that there are other bug fixes and improvements without listing further details.
According to a recent post in the Garmin forum, public beta version 23.15 is currently available for at least 20% of users. You can manually download the update by going to the Main menu > Settings > System > Software Update > Check For Updates. If you own a wearable like the Garmin Forerunner 165 (curr. $240.99 at Amazon) and wish to learn more about the Beta Program, you can find this information on the Garmin website.
