Citizen has released four new AW015 watches in Europe. These models are powered by an Eco-Drive J800-CTM analog quartz caliber. This makes them solar powered watches, which can be charged using any indoor or outdoor light source; each has a 240 day power reserve.
The Citizen AW0151-00LC has a blue and silver color scheme, with a dark blue textured dial and a matching leather strap. Its casing is silver colored stainless steel, as is the buckle on the strap. The AW0153-04AC is another leather strap model, this time with a black band. This watch has a white/cream face and a gold tone stainless steel casing. The final two models, the AW0151-85EC and the AW0151-85XC, both feature silver colored stainless steel casing and straps. However, the AW0151-85EC has a black textured dial, and the AW0151-85XC has a green watch face with a similar pattern.
Citizen’s AW015 watches have a 40.5 mm (~1.59 inch) wide casing, measuring 10.4 m (~0.41 inch) thick. They have three analog hands and should remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month. Plus, the dial has two inset indicators, showing the day of the week in the 12 o’clock position and the day of the month in the 6 o’clock position. The face is covered by crystal glass, and the model is said to be water resistant to 10 bar.
In European countries like the Netherlands, Germany and Austria, you can now buy the Citizen AW0151-00LC watch for €169. The Citizen AW0151-85EC and the AW0151-85XC are a little more expensive at €179 each. The Citizen AW0153-04AC tops the range, priced at €189.
