Replacements for the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Pro (curr. $1,989.98 on Amazon) have been a long time coming. However, it now seems that DJI could finally be getting close to officially introducing the Mavic 4, which may well line up alongside the Mavic 4 Pro in a joint launch event.
To recap, the latter recently turned up at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. By contrast, DJI appeared to register the Mavic 4 with the same regulatory body a few months earlier featuring a larger battery than its Pro counterpart.
Now, Igor Bogdanov has shared a clearer picture of the Mavic 4 Pro, which we have embedded below. Evidently, DJI's next high-end drone will contain a redesigned camera housing. With that being said, the Mavic 4 Pro will ship with three cameras, just like its predecessor.
Bogdanov has not revealed when DJI intends to launch the Mavic 4 Pro, though. Based on recent leaks, the Mavic 4 and Mavic 4 Pro may well be just two of multiple releases that DJI has planned for 2025. For context, it looks as though the Mini 5 and Flip drones may arrive soon too, as may the Osmo Action 6 action camera.
