Aurzen, the brand behind the Zip tri-folding compact projector, has announced the world's first smart projector that ships with Roku TV OS out of the box. The new projector is called the Aurzen Eazze D1R Cube, and while it won't fit into your pocket, it does have a pocket-friendly price.
According to the manufacturer, the Eazze D1R Cube has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, a brightness of 330 ANSI lumens, and a projection size of between 40'' and 150''. It also has auto focus and auto keystone correction, and Aurzen says the optical engine is sealed to protect it from dust and bugs, and prevent light leakage.
Since the Eazze D1R Cube runs Roku TV out of the box, operating it should be easy for anyone familiar with Roku's streaming devices. The projector even comes with a Roku TV Remote. Unfortunately, it isn't a voice remote; however, you can install the Roku mobile app, which has voice control.
The Aurzen Eazze D1R Cube has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage. It also features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, integrated dual 5W speakers, Dolby Audio, and can function as a standalone Bluetooth speaker. In addition, the projector has a USB-A port, an HDMI port, an audio jack, a reset button, and an IR receiver.
The projector comes in White, Gray, and Green. However, only the white version is available to buy. The Aurzen Eazze D1R Cube projector is available to purchase on Amazon for $249.99, but buyers can get it for $179.99 if they claim a $70 coupon between now and October 1.
