Hisense has launched the 139-inch and 15-inch versions of the Xplorer X1 Ultra laser TV in China. Following on from two smaller variants released earlier this year, these products share many similarities with the brand’s L9Q projector, which is available in other markets globally. Features include a dual laser light source and an integrated 9.1.4 channel sound system.

The Hisense Xplorer X1 Ultra laser TV in larger 139-inch and 150-inch sizes has arrived in China. The X1 Ultra launched earlier in 2025, originally available in 100-inch and 120-inch versions. It appears to be a version of the L9Q projector, which has already arrived in the US (curr. $5,997.97 via Amazon Marketplace).

The 139-inch and 150-inch versions each have a dual MCL39 RGB laser light source, for up to 1,000 nits brightness. For context, the L9Q projector is marketed as offering 5,000 ANSI lumens peak brightness. Both models offer a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) picture, with a 0.18:1 throw ratio. They are said to cover 110% of the BT.2020 color space, with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and support for Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode.

The main difference between the Xplorer X1 Ultra and the L9Q is the speakers. The version for the Chinese market comes with a 9.1.4 channel sound system from Harman Kardon, with a 206W output; the L9Q has 6.2.2 channel speakers. Running on Android software, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and has ports including four HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and RS232.

In China, the 139-inch version of the Hisense Xplorer X1 Ultra laser TV retails for CNY 79,999 (~$11,246), while the larger 150-inch version is priced at CNY 99,999 (~$14,058).
