The TCL QM9K QD-Mini LED QLED 4K UHD Smart TV is now available in the US. This model launched earlier in September. It shares many similarities with the C9K TV, which was released in Europe earlier in 2025.
You can now buy the TCL QM9K QD-Mini LED QLED 4K UHD Smart TV in the US, with prices starting from $2,999.99 for the 65-inch model (complete price list below). For context, that makes it $500 more expensive than the equivalent sized QM8K TV (RRP $2,499.99 RRP, curr. $1,297.99 at Amazon).
The QM9K is a 4K model with an up to 144 Hz refresh rate. It features the brand's CrystGlow WHVA Panel and has more local dimming zones than the QM8K, up to 6,000 rather than up to 3,800. There is also a higher maximum brightness level, up to 6,500 nits of HDR brightness. The device supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HLG and IMAX Enhanced, and offers Motion Rate 480 with MEMC frame insertion. Other features include up to 288Hz VRR, auto low latency mode (ALLM), and FreeSync Premium Pro. It also has integrated Bang & Olufsen speakers, supporting Dolby Atmos and a presence sensor, lused to light up the screen when someone enters the room.
TCL’s QM9K is equipped with Google TV, providing access to a wide range of streaming services. You can wirelessly share content via Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2. Through a future update, it will also feature Google Gemini, a first for the brand; this is said to offer personalized recommendations and natural voice commands. However, it is unclear when this software will be released.
