Hisense has announced a new slim soundbar, the S5120Q. This is a 5.1.2 channel model that is marketed as Tuned by Devialet, and it was on show at IFA 2025. It is one of a new range of thinner options designed to sit comfortably beneath your TV’s frame.
The S5120Q has five main sound channels, two upfiring channels and a subwoofer. It is said to support decoding of Dolby Atmos and various DTS:X formats. The premium, Hi-Res soundbar has the brand’s Room Fitting Tuning function, optimizing the sound for the environment. Plus, Hi-Concerto ensures that the sound from your TV and soundbar is synced.
Users of the Hisense S5120Q will get a new EQ setting, Audio Game Mode, said to create a more immersive gaming experience. You will be able to wirelessly share content thanks to Apple AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect, and Ports include HDMI and a 3.5 mm jack. On top of this, remote controls will be available through the ConnectLife app. Both the soundbar and the accompanying 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer are black; the company has yet to reveal the measurements of this model.
The Hisense S5120Q slim soundbar is expected to be released in Europe in the first quarter of 2026. In this market, it will retail for €399. It is unclear whether or when it could reach other countries like the US, where it already sells older models like the AX3100Q 3.1 channel soundbar (curr. $229.99 at Amazon).
